Land Rover Series 1 86"

Land Rover Series 1 SWB 86" Patina project.
Recommissioned for a client from a barn find, this little landy had been sat idle for many years after use on a farm. The front wing skins had been cut off, the front grille panel was rotten, little working electrics and there were no brakes..
The brief was to make it move and look prettier.
The 2ltr engine ran well with a little coaxing and the brakes were overhauled so it would start, run and stop safely. Replacement wing sides were sourced and paint was applied and then 'aged' to blend them with the rest. The whole body was machine polished and the wheels repainted in a complimenting deep blue.
